people, North Face tents let you sleep anywhere
While many people will know the North Face range of jackets,
fewer will be aware of the North Face tents range. The company
has brought it’s attention to style as well as practicality and
durability to bear on producing a range of three tents which
should suit any outing. The three North Face tents ranges are
Expedition, 3 Season and Ultralight. This last includes some
innovative solutions designed to reduced packing size and
overall weight.
The most popular range of North Face tents is probably the
Expedition range. These come in sizes from 2 to 4 people, with
the 3 person tent being the best seller in the range. Each tent
is designed to be used in the most severe conditions, and boasts
features such as stability boosting continuous pole sleeves and
strong aluminum poles.
The 3 Season range of North Face tents start with those designed
for two people, and up to larger 5 person models. In general,
they are larger and more suited to being used as semi-permanent
bases. While they may not all boast the same range of features
as the Expedition series, they are very solid all round tents
which are suitable for use in all but the most extreme weather
conditions.
The third range of North Face tents is the Ultralight range.
These are available in one or two person sizes, a reflection of
the ultralight backpacking trend. They have revolutionary fabric
shells, made from special material which has been tested and
developed to be as lightweight as it is resistant to the
elements. Of course, these tents also have ultralight poles, and
have multiple pitching options to cater for all conditions.
