The baby
backpack keeps your hands free
From the first days that your baby can go outside, you will need
some way to carry them around with you, and the baby backpack is
great for ensuring that you have both your hands free whilst
also transporting your child in comfort and security. There are
several kinds of baby backpack which exist on the open market,
and they come in several styles.
The first kind comes in either a sling or front facing baby
backpack. In the sling variety, the baby is held across the
front of the parent, with the head held in close to the chest.
This is ideal for babies talking their first breaths in the
great outdoors, but they will quickly become too big and fidgety
to remain in this kind of traveling pouch.
The second type of front carrying baby backpack ensures that the
baby can see what is going on, and has a clear breathing space
around its face. This last is more for the parents peace of mind
than the babies own comfort, but it will be much more inclined
to remain peacefully in the bag if it can, see what is going on.
The last kind of baby backpack puts the baby behind the parent,
and some of the front loading versions can be used in this way
too. However, there will be a point at which the child is too
big for this kind of bag since there is no frame or support
beyond the fabric of the bag itself. At this point it is wise to
move on to a frame based pack which can support much more
weight.
