Forget retail therapy, forget “bling-bling” and forget trying your luck in Vegas – Camping is definitely the new “cool” – because you always win in Mother Nature’s wonderland. Why? Well, you just can’t buy the sunset at the end of a perfect day outdoors. Nor can you really rediscover yourself at your local mall at the start of a brand new day. However with camping you can.

And if you think camping’s too dirty, the weather’s too unpredictable or there’s nothing to do, well think again. There’s nothing like a bit of fresh air to go with some great outdoor exercise like a gentle stroll, a hike up a hill, some canoeing, kayaking or rafting – take your pick, there are hundreds of ways to enjoy the great outdoors. All that fresh air and exercise just always seems to make you appreciate a sharpened appetite for life as well as good food.

Your camping adventure could involve a long hike and setting up camp under the stars cooking over an open fire. It could simply be a brief journey to your designated pitch with most of the modern conveniences you’d find at home. Either way, you’ll still have the opportunity to create a whole host of memories – some of which may last a lifetime. And what stories you’ll be able to tell – the glint of a rainbow formed in the mist of a waterfall, the grandeur of mountains as the sun first strikes them in the morning or the sounds of a new dawn. For the enthusiast, these may not be new experiences at all, however, they always create fresh memories and remind you just how wonderful the outdoors can be.
